Throughout all these years after Shaman King Original have ended with a brief and unexpected ending,
I should have been googled about the ending and discover Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang!!!
Kang Zeng Bang / Zankenban is basically "the complete version", 完全版,
released after many years the original version finished requested by many fans.
Seems like the artist was having a hard time when you read the letter in the last chapter of the original.
Funbari No Uta, Shaman King Zero, Shaman King Flowers were released
after Kang Zeng Bang/Kanzenban/KZB.
There you will read stories about Yoh Asakura's and Anna's son.
Oh yeah, you gotta continue reading everything from chapter 265 onwards (KZB),
the story is very different compare to the original version.
I can see slight difference in the artist's illustrating style,
also some parts of the KZB story is a little messy....
Ah but at least I know a lil bit more about Shaman King.
Now, part of my life is complete.
Here's KZB online :
Kang Zeng Bang
And a post talking about the sequence and the extras.

The Laughing Vampire
![]() |
Manga : Warau Kyuuketsuki. By Suehiro Maruo |
I spent 2 hours reading this tonight. oh man. Beautiful.
Maybe this one from Suehiro Maruo is not that gore so I can accept.
Or maybe the gore-ness are accompanied by loads of beautiful and romantic scenes and depictions made
me accept this one.
The more I read, the more I like his artstyle.
That teenager is so handsome, URGH!!!!
It's a different kind of vampire story, and when the main storyline flows, there will be 1-2 stories
of different characters added in, a bit confusing at the beginning but it flows just right after a while.
It's nothing to do with cross, or Christianity. Not restricted to japanese vampires only, but cross cultural.
Plain "vampire". Beautiful, romantic artstyle.
Loads of details will drive you read slower.
Anyway, I felt sad in this manga. There's still things that related to humanity as well.
The beginning is really sad, and almost the end too.
First character introduced in this manga, had a sad life, a woman who's born with an appearance unlike
normal people got boycott, abused, killed and hanged on a tree.
Then she got buried, but she's not dead, instead she had become a human, or shouldn't be called as human,
who has an urge to drink blood. So, kill, drink blood.
And if she let another person drink her blood, the person will become like her, same species.
Then the story goes on.
Interesting perspective. I like this one.
At first you'll be like no way this is so weird, yuck, but slowly,
the manga will make you blend into them and start to get use of their lifestyle.
You'll feel sad for them, feel angry.
URGH FEELS!!!!
and yeah, surprisingly this manga got not much to do with sex in my opinion, although
there's some weird fetish going on. But still, compare to other quick search of his manga,
this is level 10 only out of 50.
Too much info
Today I found out some documentary about Yonaguni underwater ruins in Japan,
some articles about this and a few underwater pyramids around the world.
Feels creepy. Imagine you dive there, and saw this underwater ruin...
Man. The aura. It's like looking at pyramid..
It reminds me of Osamu Tezuka's manga- Phoenix.
I were lucky enough to rent it before they sell it out from a comic renting store in Ipoh,
so lucky. Somehow I feel that Osamu Tezuka is quite into ancient history and the future,
many work of him showcased a lot of ancient civilization and futuristic themes.
And after watching more and more documentaries about ancient architectures, I finally can relate them to most of his works.
I bet he is interested about archeology too.
Phoenix is really interesting, it focus a lot in Humanity.
Feel really down when I finish some of the stories. Every story starts from different
civilizations/ period of time.
It reminds me of people who believes god who cause certain civilizations wipe out in the past.
Phoenix will be undead, and it observes the people god created.
Then the story begins with the birth of humans, from the caveman to more civilized, to more advanced.
but got wiped out cause of war, plagues etc factors.
Hmm, after reading his manga, watching Ancient Aliens, there's a little link in it.
As in some themes and ideas of the birth of human, and the ancient past predictions.
Then okay suddenly I found this manga artist Suehiro Maruo.
He's a gore horror manga artist, with some sense of erotica.
Pretty artstyle, pretty people, but gore. NO!!!!!!!!!!!
I... I can't.. have too much gore..
Too much..
But I feel like reading one of his work. Man.
Cause it's so elegant!
Still.. HMMM... People who love gore, go for it.
GO!!!

Last week.

"angel" in arab writing. |

Cameron Highlands. Near by my granma's place. |

Some random sketch. |

DOTS THAT FORM BUBBLES. |

LOOK AT THE HAIR YO!!!!! |
I wrote this on his hand few weeks ago, when I learnt some arabic calligraphy from him and
some Israel friend.
Calligraphy is always one of my favorite since Debby our lecturer introduced us a Arab typographer.
Arabic, English and chinese calligraphy are really beautiful in their own way.
It requires a lot of patience and practices.
I met some chinese traditional painters and calligraphers, they really have some style yo.
The way they speak and act is different, can tell they are really calm.
WOO this need a lot of practices and experience to achieve that level of painting, writing and maintaining our calmness, shaping our attitude.
Respect.
Cameron Highlands, my parent's hometown.
This visit reminds me a lot of my family, our experiences in this calm peaceful place.
It's a small village, but it feels so close with everyone, relatives are everywhere, kids are playing around, the elderly are sitting infront of their houses talking to same old friends.
It's unlike the city I'm living all the time.
人情味。
Our car will be occupied with vegetables, fresh flowers, fruits and food from different people
when we head back to Ipoh, my hometown.
Friends, relatives, neighbours will send us what they have, in boxes, huge chunk of stuffs when they
saw our car parking at my grandparent's garage.
Gosh, where can we find such warm place? Yes we can but it's quite hard to find people like this
nowadays. Definitely hard in cities.
Cameron Highlands is where I find peace, the place I felt my presence.
I felt like bursting into tears whenever I write about my grandma, I wish she can live forever.
SIGH. OKAY SKIP!!!! NOT TODAY.
I still remember my passion in drawing comics.
I spent time everyday after completing homework with my pen and papers, trying to practice
and create stuffs and sell to my classmates at school.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! It's not allowed but..
Sorry cannot help it, I want to promote and make money. XD
Line art used to be my strongest skill, now, I suck, my hands starting to shake while drawing lines.
It's okay, need time to train this, everything requires hardwork, I strongly believe in this.
I guess I don't really have much talent in drawing? But I always remember I spent hell lot of time
in drawing, trying to copy artstyles from my favorite comic artist, that's how we learn.
Try to mimic, develop, mix, and create another style.
My very first shoju comic I read is by a taiwanese manga artist - 游素兰.
My second sister bought it when I'm young, the artstyle is realllyyyy elegant.
Silky long hair, huge pretty eyes, small nose sharp chin long body.
But overall it's really detail, especially using dots to create romantic "mood", "essence"(dont know how to describe), but every dot is gold. I practiced that technique, darn hard man, DARN HARD.
DARN HARDDDDD!!!!!!!!
I saw her books in China, OKAY no need to consider, BUY.
Cause every page is well drawn, the inking part is really good, SERIOUSLY she is still my idol.
You can stop looking at her colored works, I think the colored ones cannot bring out what she's
really good at, check her black white works. THOSE HAIR MY GODNESS.
Those detailed background, laces, flowers OH MY EYES!
Some of the "elegant" looking manga looks complicated, laces all chunked together,
not much weight and balance, it feels messy in some way.
游素兰's skill is definitely more mature and clean. OH I LIKE HER A LOT.
Romantic. Simply romantic. She's one of the artist who influenced my pathway.
She often uses themes like History of China, Angels and Devils, something mysterious and elegant.
Wow, I bought 6 books only, but I spend many days reading them, it's not about story only,
it's about experiencing the artist's skills man.
Just like Takeshi Obata , Clamp and Osamu Tezuka.
OH RESPECT!!!!!
The best thing of collecting manga - reread, reread and reread. Also about paper materials.
Without my sister and her, I wont be here,
Even though in the end I decided not to go for manga pathway. :)

古谷实; Minoru Furuya
![]() |
The first comic I read by Mr Minoru Furuya. I fall in love with his manga right away. I did not know that there's some story about a murderer been featured inside. Intense mood.......... |
![]() |
The 2nd one. A lot of beautiful big bikes in this comic. (thought of my mother. XD) |
![]() |
YES!!!! This is why I love about his works! Loud! Real! Humorous! |
Totally the most memorable manga I've read so far.
Minoru Furuya, 古谷实, is the artist who drew the comic of a kid who shits rabbit out.
I did not know that at first because those 2 manga that I read is a lil bit dark,
humorous but the contents are kind of scary, contains some murder scenes.
I like the way he transformed fear, split personalities into visuals.
It's something that I haven't seen before.
Also, his manga really made me question my dreams and future.
He discusses our life, about who we are and daily issues.
Kinda took my breath away when I realize I was actually reading
something about a murderer's logic.
Luckily the manga has other great characters that I really admire,
some normal or I can say not that good looking people. AHHAHAHA!
(They did motivate and inspired me.)
That's Minoru's style, that's his signature man.
*oh not to forget, dirty jokes and imaginary penis aliens or weird looking human head creatures
are also his main elements in his works*
**It's just so CREATIVE! I love it so much :D**
Everything character setting, storyline makes me feel that..
It's not romantic big eye pretty character art style with imaginative love stories
that is very rare in this world.
Normally people won't feature aunties with curly hair, big round belly,
big mouth thick lips and small eyes with huge eye bags right?
But that's Minoru's element.
In the mainstream manga we've seen everyday,
most of the characters seemed to be good looking, at least they are above average.
Princess looking, model looking hot chicks and
k-pop j-pop manga guys etc really got me sick somehow.
Boring. boring. boring.
Unless their art style fits my taste. XD
Unlike Minoru Furuya's.
Minoru's manga shows reality.
It felt so real! Finally there's some "normal people" in manga!
Look at people around you. Not all of them look like superstars and models isn't it?
Those personalities are superb. Of course face expressions 150% geng!!!
It's weird, funny, and joyful! mmm but there's some dark ones. XD
No doubt that his lines are so thin, every scenery is detail, nicely constructed.
Even his characters look funny, simple, but I can see effort in it.
His manga had been made into a movie! wow~ :D
USH! I am looking for his other works!
Man I wanna read them all so badly right now. XD

Youngest sister 一叶, a quiet, loner and freaky girl who reads and collects A books (18sx) beside the river. Her cheeks are also a joke : as soft as boobies. XD |
Finished more than 50 books of manga in a month!
And I found this particular cute manga that made me laugh once in a while.
It's a story about 3 primary school girls, also triplets.
These 3 girls have their own unique personalities that made the story flows great!
Totally don't know whats going to happen next!
I only know their names in Chinese since I'm reading the Chinese translated manga.
Eldest to youngest: 三叶,双叶,一叶.
The manga is hilarious. Jokes and misunderstanding about sex, panties, relationships, friendships and etc really
made my day.
Of course the dirty jokes level are not that high like adults.
So this is something soft for everyone! :D
It's cute, and I feel like wanna pinch them awhile because
the artist made them a lil bit fleshy, i think baby fat is the best word to describe.
It's not those skinny, pretty, glam style that we often see in shonen manga and others.
Quite fresh for me because it's a primary school based story.
So maybe you can see similar jokes that your mates made during primary school period.
Totally worth to read. XD
