Adapting

Just came back to the country I stayed for 20 years.
Holy shit. Just realised this temperature of heat in Malaysia is very extreme.
My head was so dizzy when I arrived KLIA yesterday at 11.30am.

Wow. that heatwave.

Malaysians are really cool.
This weather is really crazy.

*head spinning*

Bye UK.

Wow. It's 29th already, and I am flying back to Malaysia few hours later.
Time flies :)

Still remember those days studying in Selangor, doing my degree second year,
thinking should I have my final year in UK or not.
And now, I completed my course here, and preparing to go home to where
I originally came from.
1 year, not long but not short too. Adapted quite well in UK.
I'm feeling nervous of going home, thinking how life's gonna be there.
The first thing I feel like doing is, go back to Ipoh, and eat.
Eat out 3 meals for 1-2 days. Because my tongue is "sweating", I can't hold
back my cravings anymore. URGH!!!!!!!
I don't mind if your give me Old town kopitiam food. (the one with lots of branch)

Time to sum up my journey with one word - AWESOME.

I think what makes me want to stay is the Nobody Cares culture and
also the design culture here. I felt so free.
Plus the safety level is a lot higher, I'm not afraid of walking alone outside.
In Malaysia, you'll worry about your safety when you're driving, walking outdoors,
even eating out. Will be very worried when you see motorcycles, and those people walking
with helmets. Or even parking your car in the parking lot of a shopping mall.
I felt safe here. :)

Of course not to forget my awesome friends, classmates and lecturers.
Met a lot of talented people here, they showed me how far a designer can go.
How awesome and far can a student can achieve.
I would like to thank my classmates for helping me out all the time when I'm facing loads
of difficulties in studies, life, relationship etc.
Suhan, Halie, Feline, Ee Suen, really thank you for being my listener all the time.
I would like to thank an unexpected friend, Csaba for always motivating me and
supporting me whenever I need help.
One of my favourite experience in England. :)

Felt pretty sad to leave this university and country.
But ITS OKAY! Need to move on, hope I can come back again with
stronger portfolio and experience.

Life goes on, what a beautiful experience,
thanks for giving me this chance daddy and mommy.
Sigh! It's kind of like an end and a starting point.

Sketch

Im prepared to be like this on 30th, in Malaysia.

Drunk Flatmate

Ever since my coursed ended, most of my old flatmates moved out and new mates moved in.
One girl (don't want to specify her nationality but she's European), staying in the middle
of the hall way (we got sections in this floor), brought us loads of problems.

1- being dirty

I got no idea how can she live with all the trash and dishes uncleaned.
The first week was alright, the kitchen is still very clean but after this week....
I met all of my flatmates who uses this kitchen, and I have idea how these people treat the kitchen.
We all knew it was this girl who leaves her unwashed dishes after eating, not cleaning the hove,
table, or any mess she left in the kitchen. holy shit. disaster.

Never took the trash out even it's her turn on rota.
My new flatmates cook a lot so this is really troublesome, especially the dirty and occupied sink.
Sometimes she just left ingredients around, messy messy messy.

2 - always drunk and partying in the kitchen

Okay, most of us finished out course, or on summer holiday BUT
few flatmates of mine are master students and they still need to submit work during our holiday period.
My room is at the end of the building, far far away from the kitchen but there's many of them
staying near the kitchen. These people party until 6am in the morning,
always going in out from the kitchen and also our floor, going upstairs downstairs,
running, banging door loudly, knocking, screaming yelling names etc.
I can hear it clearly because my room is quite near to the floor entrance. GEEZ!
Too much, if you party until 3am, OKAY manage to tolerate. BUT 6AM!
Some security guards came to warn them before but the party didn't end that easily.

That thing that made us so mad is they made the kitchen so dirty, ate our food, left our food and tools
uncleaned and lying all around the place. Come on if you wanna steal food, at least put it back to
it's original place bro. That easy!

After partying, we can see mayo and coke in toilets and bathrooms, juice as well.
I don't know what they do with that huge bottle of coke, stuffed some mentos inside I think,
and somehow exploded. The whole bathroom is like coke shower room. No water yo, it's coke.

I can hear people coming in and out almost every night, and sometimes I saw her lying on the
ground with a container for her to vomit. It was 4am in the morning and she's accompanied by 2 girls
one boy while she's being ultra drunk.
Funnily one of my flatmate told me she heard this group of friends who partied with this messy drunk
girl gossiping about her, laughing at her drunk acts or something.

Every since they started having party in our kitchen, we started to find our tools and utensils missing.
Food too of course. Very annoying...... very very annoying.
We have 2 brooms to clean this kitchen, and I can see one of them is laying outside at the field.
Oh mannnnn!!! Why you guys do this to our kitchen!
You know it's very normal to vomit when you get drunk, so sometimes I can find disgusting
smelly liquid in the bathroom. Around the toilet bowl too.
The worse part is:

THEY DON'T FREAKING CLEAN UP THE MESS.

Seriously you cannot imagine how bad it is, nandos sauce everywhere, cereals,
drinks, tissue or toilet paper sometimes, food, everything. DISASTER.

*Fresh News*

A bunch of ma mates were chilling in the kitchen at night just now, and one of this girl's friend,
a boy CLIMBED up to our kitchen window and said HI.
First floor kitchen man! And he's coming into our kitchen pretending to find his charger.
OH MAN.. Super weird. So strange!!! Super creepy!!!
This girl also left her room trash in front of her room, 3 bags.
A mate of mine said most of the trash are pill boxes and drug bags. wow.
And she's studying something to do with nursing.
WOW!!!! This combo.
My Cyprus Flatmate got into an argument at 6am with these bunch of party people.
They were still partying, using her coffee and utensils, and not cleaning up.
Headache. BUT!!! Luckily this girl moved out yesterday.
PEACE!!! YES!!!!!!!

Polish sausage.

/// A day out with Csaba ///

Felt like this might be our last/ second last chance to meet up, so
it's a little sad. We went to Old Spitalfields Market around Liverpool Street Station.
Kind of like a craft + apparel market. Got some designer crafts, clothing stores there.
Of course restaurants and cafe. This is where Csaba found his favourite jacket.
It's a French Army jacket, waterproof! Check the photos!
He's super proud of this jacket now, AHHAHAA!!!
We kind of explored a small part of somewhere around Temple Station in London.
This is where we found the Royal Courts of Justice. Nice nice building.
And we found some nice pubs!

Before meeting him I don't really know where is Hungary.
See, fail malaysian geography education.
He introduced me some good hungarian and polish food, so i bought this Polish sausage to try.
I tried one Hungarian dry paprika sausage before, wow, so awesome.
It taste really good when I add in with my scramble egg!
He made me a meal that day, with pickles and mash potatoes!
Really good, its a paprika pork stew. :D

Update

So....I broke up with my boyfriend.
It happened quite long ago, I just didn't want to talk about it.
3 and a half years relationship ended peacefully.
No cold war no nothing, ended without arguments.
We are now friends :)

Studying in UK made me realised that there's so many things
can beat up your confidence, stir your mind and trust.
I didn't expect this ending honestly.
I was so so confident with this relationship before coming to UK.

I guess it's mostly my problem.
Coming here actually gave me an opportunity to reevaluate myself and my life goals.
Lots of things happened here, lots of emotions, lots of love, lots of stress, sadness and disappointments.
+ and -

There's many important things need to be done for both of us.
Relationship is dragging us down. But it's alright, we are both free now.
To focus on studies and work, or maybe more.

I am actually pretty fed up with relationships at this moment.
Met lots of people, seemed convincing, but seriously I can say I judged them wrongly.
Nobody wants to be serious. But it's okay, I am going back to Malaysia next week.
Finding someone who can love you unconditionally is harder than I thought.
Hmm, but yeah. It's already hard enough to find someone who thinks that you are interesting
and willing to contact you for a long period, knowing you more and deeper.
Sigh, I guess my 缘 ended?
I do hope I got a chance to work here, seriously, really really want to get a job here.

After meeting more people, I came to realise you can actually tell who is interested in you and who's not.
Isn't it obvious? One will have this urge to find out more about someone if one's interested in him/her.
This desperate urge to know more and deep about someone, more more more.
*stalker mode on.*
Right? Never mind.
I think human communication is really really important.
This few months I think I kind of know I failed to communicate with certain people,
perhaps that's why I didn't really want to talk to many people or have
any relationships that early. I seriously cannot understand some human beings.
I tried so hard to communicate but it didn't work out.
No 缘 at all.

Unfriend/ deleting someone is a big deal to me.
Once you got deleted by someone, it's really hard to gain trust on that person again. Geez.
I never unfriend someone, or delete someone on skype unless they crossed my borderline.
(those horny desperate rude people)
But it's okay, you cannot please everyone. Not everyone cherish your friendship.
Perhaps it's a good thing to know who doesn't care about your friendship ASAP before
putting lots of lots of effort and trust in him/her.

缘 , where are you.
Maybe you're there but I didn't notice.
顺其自然吧。

Wet

As usual, London is always windy, cloudy and rainy.
Luckily I got an umbrella.
This rainy weather kind of got me into a moody mood..
Maybe because I know I cannot stay longer :')

Drama pub

So I went to a pub nearby today with Feline.
We were planning to eat dinner there but sadly the kitchen closes at 6pm,
but no luck, so we got ourself some drinks, chit chat.
Then 2 married guy came to approach us.
Here comes the story.
Let me summarise :

Character :

Fatty - married man 1
Ricky - married man 2
Sammy - married man 1's father in law

Trevor - A black dude working in our UNI who loves Pulau Langkawi
Colum - A 30 year old Irish man working in London
Cigar dude - A funny guy who has a cigarette on his ear
A mother and son - A frequent customer

PLOT :

Fatty and Ricky were there before we came, pretty sure they are drunk.
Fatty came because of his wife gave him permission to enjoy time with his
father in law, Sammy. So Fatty and Ricky started to talk to us.
Then whatever, we just layan, since we are not locals we are trying to be nice.
Ricky kept on bugging me. Seriously so annoying.
His wife came to dig him out in the end, so he left. His wife is damnnnn mad I can tell.
Luckily I wasn't with him that time.

But this fatty is even worse, he stayed until the pub closes, keep on trying to
bug me and Feline. While all his friends were gone, he came to talk to us second round.
My eyes are rolling, keep on looking at some other place, ignoring all his compliments.
Trying to send signal to the irish dude and Cigar dude, asking him to help us out.
Because this dude, NEVER LET US GO.
Finally the Cigar dude came with 2 friends, trying to shoo this guy away.
Damn so nice. So these young man kind of like protecting us until this dude went to get
a second drink. He even walked to him questioning him what he wants from us.
Not only these young dude questioned him, a young man(with his mother) too asked him to be polite.
Feline told me this fatty was pretty rude to this young man so the mother gone mad and kind of
quarrelled with him as well. Geez.
Then Trevor invite me and feline to his side with Colum to keep this fatty away.
So the pub closed, a few guys and all of the people who's helping us went outside,
and question him until he go away.
The fatty almost got into a fight with some of the guys there. seriously.
Trevor and Colum walked me and feline home, very gentleman.
This fatty stopped following until Colum stared him in the eyes, looking at him in a
super close distance, releasing the gangsta aura.
Well Colum is tall and tough, and this married dude is short and ... so he went off himself.
Holy shit me and feline was like wooooow........... HOU MAN AH!!!!!!!!!

Extra :

Feline said this fat dude told her outside the pub that they are quarrelling because of
her. He is trying to hook up with her. -_- Calling her chinese bird. RUDE SHIT!!!!!

He broke a few glasses in 3 hours, spilled his drinks for 3 times too.

Ricky touched ma ass and I stared at him warning him please don't do that.
Ricky also showed me £100 pounds cash, asking me can I earn this much money back in
my country for an hour. I was so offended and i said what are you trying to do, I am not a hooker.

I questioned fatty do you still love your wife, he said no, he only loves his daughter. He's with
his wife for 10 years, married for 6 years. And in the end he didn't even say something nice
about his wife. Disgusting person, unfaithful husband. I was so pissed. No, feline too.

Colum, the Irish dude, got some sexy ass irish accent. He introduced me drinks few days ago.
And he remembered me, good. He is watching this dude bugging us all the time.
Damn gentleman walked me back to my room man. So nice.

Seeing us being frustrated, the cigar guy came to us and ask us to smile. And compliment we look good when we smile. Such a nice guy. :)
