China town at night, saw Rasa Sayang? The title speaks for itself, it is a Malaysian Restaurant. HAHAHA!! |
So i ordered char kuey teow. Aiya, of course don't compar with Penang's and Ipoh's Char Kuey Teow la. Look macam yes but taste so so, but better than nothing. Craving for it since many months ago. |
AH, Lion Dance in the streets, I saw 2 lions that day! (saturday) |
Google Office, there's a few blocks more. |
Met Michelle, my second sister's university mate! She belanja me a meal of Dim Sum, omg. Gam dong...... |
Downstairs of Hotel Chocolate Roast + Conch. Michelle was here waiting for me while I pay for my books opposite the road. This place feels damn good!!! It's small but comfy. |
They sell chocolate upstairs, and it's a cafe downstairs. |
/// CNY in London ///
I went to Chinatown London on Saturday, but there's no performance on that day.
It should be on Sunday, but never mind, I'm scared of the crowd also.
Plus I promised to meet Michelle on Saturday for a CNY meal!
Hohohoho. So I traveled down with a few mates then we went on our own
plans separately. COOL STUFFS IN SOHO MAN!!!
Michelle stayed here for more than 3 years and she's very very familiar with all the places here already
so she brought me to Forbidden Planet, A TRUE HEAVEN for anime, manga, figure, game geeks!
At first we went to Imperial China to get our Dim Sum.
She told me this dim sum restaurant has the best prawns, fresher than others,
and the price is pretty moderate.
When I look through the menu, macam..... macam....
I'm shocked. HAHAHAHA.
It's like 3.5 pounds per plate, SMALL DIM SUM WEI.
If it's RM then yeah it's normal, but imagine, x5+.......
Okay........... I wanted to pay for my meal but she refused to let me pay.
Omg. we ordered 6 plates of dim sum, I also scared to order. HAHAHA!!!
Not bad la, Michelle said it's very HK style, should be a HK chef.
Okay, pretty good ~ NOM NOM NOM.
After that we went to get bubble milk tea before going to Forbidden Planet.
Nearby Forbidden Planet is London's Google Office, so many colors, and I saw an
Andriod Figure in the building. AHHAA.
Google is Faiz's favorite. Andriod too.
I bet he will run to the office and kiss the building. AHHAAHAH!!!
In the late afternoon, Michelle brought me to the nearest TKMax cause she need to return some stuffs.
She got her things settled, we hugged and said bye, man... she's so nice.
Okay time to continue my plan. Walk Walk Walk.
Got a call from Ee Suen 45 minutes later, jio me to eat dinner at Rasa Sayang.
ONS!!!! on google map and go!!!
Then yeah, ordered teh ais+ char kuey teow.
Others got prawn mee la, curry mee la, malaysian stuffs,
quite crowded in here man, there's even more customers downstairs!
Saw many Malaysian stars and Dato Lee taking photos with the boss of this restaurant as
I walked to the toilet downstairs, even saw some secondary school looking
pendidikan seni batik artworks. HAHAHAHA!!!
PENDIDIKAN SENI, my favorite subject but after I got into TOA,
I realized, the teacher knows nothing about art and this subject and module
WAS SO STUPID. NO POINT AT ALL.
That's why many Malaysians didn't get the right info about what is art.
What my teacher can do is read the info directly on textbook.
Simply appoint someone who got no passion in art to teach = hell.
I bet she don't even know what is De Stijl.
Or just show us what we need to do and just let us do ourself. No peduli after that.
Basically no one knows what is it before entering proper art institutions/universities man.
SERIOUS. The government need to change something please, before they see
art as rubbish, (sounds familiar? it's an exhibition in Malaysia recently by a ang mo mural artist)
SISH. BO USE AT ALL LA PENDIDIKAN SENI.
And they still have the stereotypical mindset about art students cannot study, or
throwing those who can't score well in science to art stream. ( -___-)
Whatever.
Chinese new year here, a little bit feel got la.
Not bad la, at least China Town got feel.
Hatfield? no lanterns at all. HAHAHA!!!
NO FEEL WEI!!!
But I'm still surviving. DONT WORRY.
ALL IS GOOD.
I bet he will run to the office and kiss the building. AHHAAHAH!!!
