Malaysia films?

Just listened to James Wan's interview, The Malaysian-Australian film producer, screenwriter and film director of many horror Films on radio and I do agree that most of the Malay films target Malays only ; Chinese films targets Chinese only, Indian films targets Indians only. Very restricted.

I understand it's really hard to produce a film that have strong Malaysian essence that targets all Malaysians without having cultural gaps or stuffs but I hope we can see a really Malaysian film one day.

Sometimes I watched some malaysian film trailers, mostly are love stories, things to do with comedy, some funny horror films.
Hmm, it's so common, and what do we get in the end?
I do watch some malay movies, some chinese movies produced in Malaysia. But...
Where are those films that speak and reach to all Malaysians like how Yasmin Ahmad did, Tan Chui Mui and some other local directors?
Those that creates resonance among all, that teaches us cultural aspects + values , that shows us stories among our community?
Something that portrays our problems, our life. No?

Another thing James discussed is about Malaysian film's restrictions, banning films and such.
True, why ban horror films saying that they are worried that audiences may believe the spiritual contents.
Bull shit, if so, why don't they ban horror movies from other countries?
Seriously, and I just watched Namewee's new video about his films.
My godness why must people be so racist, why must they care so much about the past ?
Can't Malaysians be united and be a stronger family?

Obviously the "big ones" are mixing things and creating cultural and racial conflicts.
So sad to see, when can the arts and design industry grow stronger? not only this industry, also others.
Why can't they see Malaysians instead of chinese, malay, indians?
I hope people dont blame the whole Malay community too, not entirely the whole malay community supports those big people.
People should make this clear.

Damn Malaysians, be united!

** Namewee's video is frustrating, but a little aggressive, don't hate him**
